Magnolia Creek Residential Treatment Center for Eating Disorders

Magnolia Creek

Peacefully situated beside a private lake among thirty wooded acres just outside Birmingham, Alabama, Magnolia Creek offers residential treatment for women struggling with eating disorders. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive treatment experience, addressing the medical, psychological, nutritional, spiritual, and relational needs of its residents.

Dr. Olson cofounded and has served as the center's Medical Director since its beginning, having worked together with Clinical Director Nicole Siegfried, Ph.D. for several years when she was in private practice. His wife, Spring Olson, is also involved as Magnolia Creek's Expressive Arts instructor.

At Magnolia Creek, Dr. Olson is responsible for monitoring each resident's medical care and makes an effort to regularly meet with them individually. They are often drawn to his warm and caring nature, and many who remain in the Birmingham area after treatment continue to visit Dr. Olson on an outpatient basis.
